2008 is well established and our congratulations for a New Zealand Certificate of Embroidery pass go to:

Glenys Jackson, New Plymouth - Design Certificate

Certificate Booklets are being requested on a regular basis. I have to emphasize what has been said many times before.  Please read your booklet over and over again very carefully. Make yourself a check list and keep referring to it.  When you believe you have completed everything, check again.  If you are in doubt over how to interpret any part of your booklet please phone or email me and I will assist you with your problem.  If you are able to form a support group in your area this can be of great help.

There are good articles in past issues of Threads and I recommend you read or re-read them: April 2002 pages 12 and 18; October 2002 page 8; April 2003 pages 9 and 12; October 2003 page 6.

During the October assessments the assessors and I discussed comments sent to us from members and as a result the following changes have been made to booklets published before October 2007.

Happy stitching for 2008 and keep those Certificates coming.  They are a great joy to the creator and to many others as well.
