The Association of New Zealand Embroiderers’ Guild Conference 2012 is being hosted the Canterbury Embroiderers’ Guild.

It will be held at St Bede's College, Main North Road, Christchurch from 6th July to 12 July 2012 and will include exhibitions, displays, merchants mall, guest speakers, awards dinner and approximately 40 workshops

The inspiration was taken from the many women who have pioneered in their field in New Zealand over the years, we follow in the footsteps of those pioneering women, and our Exhibition Themes reflect this.

Members “From the Decorative to the Abstract” inspired by Frances Hodgkins – Artist

Miniature “New Expression” – inspired by Katherine Mansfield – Writer

Young Persons “First Impressions” – inspired by Elsie Locke – Children’s Author
